
The Laredo Community College Associate Degree Nursing program is currently recruiting new students who seek careers in the healthcare industry. Applications for admission into the new class next semester are due by Friday, October 24.

nursing industry, where jobs are plenty and rewarding," said Dianna Miller,
new Dean of Health Sciences at LCC.
New
students are currently sought for Spring 2004 admission to the ADN program,
which is a two-year course of study leading toward an Associate in Applied
Science Degree in Nursing.
An
application for the ADN program must be completed and submitted to the ADN
Office by October 24 before 12 noon. The
nursing office is located in Lopez Nursing Building, room 126.
The
ADN program at LCC prepares graduates for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Students implement the nursing process with client care in a structured health
care setting. The students participate in hands-on clinical experience at the
two local hospitals and at other sites throughout the community.
The
Associate Degree Nursing Program at LCC is fully accredited by the Texas Board
of Nurse Examiners and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
