Art by Susan at LCC on Thursday
Laredo Community College students will have an opportunity to become a walking canvass, when a national campus artist, known as “Susan,” brings her unique style of body art to LCC on Thursday, September 25.
Sponsored by the LCC Student Advisory Board, Body Art by Susan will be at the Kazen College Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 25.
Susan is a professional painter who has the ability to transform the human body into a canvass—on the face, down a leg, across a shoulder or right in the middle of a person’s chest.
“The work of art can go ‘almost’ anywhere you want,” said Susan. “Think of it as Picasso on your pecs, Chagall on your cheek, or Botticelli on your back.”
Susan has been featured in student and community fairs, festivals, back to school events, and many other events across the country.
LCC students will have their chance to experience Body Art by Susan free of charge with a valid LCC ID.
