The Laredo Community College Student Advisory Board presents national campus entertainers Joe & Lefty’s Spray Can Art showcase from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Kazen College Center.  For more information, call 721-5179.

 

The Laredo Community College Yeary Library will host a book signing for former LCC instructor Marie Rollin and her book, “The Fighting Padre of Zapata,” at 10 a.m. in the library foyer.  Copies of her book will be available for sale and an exhibition of period photographs of the Falcon Dam.  Admission is open to the campus body and the community.  For more information, call 721-5280.

In observance of National Depression Screening Day, the Border Region Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center will conduct private depression screenings and distribute information to interested persons on campus and from the community.  The representatives will be at the LCC Maravillo Gymnasium from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.  Admission is free of charge.  For more information, call 721-5326.
