Laredo Community College will host a press conference to announce sponsorship of a free matinee concert performance for students featuring LCC Fall Gala concert headliner Enrique Chia and his Latin Ensemble.  The announcement will be at 10 a.m. at the LCC Bookstore, located on the south end of the Kazen College Center.  For more information, call 721-5140.

 

Laredo Community College is seeking new students for spring 2004 admission to the Occupational Therapy Assistant program.  Applications are available in the Allied Health Center, room 109. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2003.  Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  For more information, call 721-5261.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2003

The Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Science Center at Laredo Community College, with assistance from the Rio Grande/Rio Bravo Basin Coalition, will hold its annual Dia del Rio Work Day.  Students and community members are invited to help beautify the Paso del Indio Nature Trail on the north side of the LCC campus.  Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at the LBVE Science Center.  Lunch will be provided to all volunteers.  For more information, call 764-5701.
