Laredo Community College is seeking new students for spring 2004 admission to the Occupational Therapy Assistant program.  Applications are available in the Allied Health Center, room 109. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2003.  Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  For more information, call 721-5261.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2003

The Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Science Center at Laredo Community College will celebrate Make a Difference Day with several activities, including the installation of an orchid house on the Center grounds and a donor recognition ceremony for two new attractions, including a new Grazer exhibit featuring a live javelina and the new “El Monte en la Noche” diorama.  The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. at the Science Center.  The community is invited to attend.  Admission is free of charge.  For more information, call 764-5701.
