
The
Great Health Debate videoconference at LCC on Nov. 11
Laredo Community College students will be able to participate in a national videoconference focusing on the “The Great Health Debate” on Tuesday, November 11.
Sponsored by the LCC Student Advisory Board, the videoconference will begin at 6 p.m. and will be shown at the de la Garza Building, room 101. It is one in a series of presentations hosted by The Society of Success and Leadership. Admission is free of charge and open to students and the community.
The discussion will focus on setting the record straight concerning myths and facts dealing with high protein diets.
Leading the Debate will be Deanna Latson, C.C.N., M.A., one of the nation’s top college health speaker; and Dr. John McDougall, author of 10 national Best Sellers on food and nutrition.
McDougall will speak on behalf of high protein diets and the Meat and Dairy Industry, while Latson will represent the Vegetarian Supporters and their research.
