Early
advisement, a valuable opportunity for Laredo Community College students to map
out their Spring 2004 class schedule, began on Monday, November 10.
LCC
students who get advised or are eligible to self advise can take advantage of
the online registration activities currently underway for the new academic term
at LCC through December 4.
Early
advisement will be available in the college’s instructional departments and
the Counseling Center from November 10 to 13 and November 17-20 from 1 to 6 p.m.
Students who have not declared a major should report to the Counseling
Center, located in University Hall, room 107.
Early
and self-advised students can register through December 4 via LCC’s On Line
Enrollment (OLÉ) services available on the World Wide Web at http://ole.laredo.edu
or by phone by dialing 721-5100 using a touch-tone phone.
The college’s OLE Web and Phone services are available to
students from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
To self advise for classes, LCC students must have at least 20 college-level semester hours of credit, must have met college level readiness requirements and have declared a major to the Admissions/Registration Office.
For students who register early, the deadline to pay class tuition and fees is December 11 by 5 p.m. at the LCC Bursar’s Office, located in University Hall, room 121.
The spring offerings include day, evening and distance education courses, which make it convenient for students on the go to obtain a college education. With tuition for in-district students at half the cost of state universities, LCC offers a more affordable, quality learning experience. LCC also offers plenty of financial aid and special Early Enrollment programs for high school students.
For more information, call the LCC Admissions/Registration Office by calling 721-5109.
