Early
fall registration continues at LCC
Early registration for the Fall 2003 Semester at Laredo Community College continues this week through Thursday, August 7.
“Laredo Community College students who desire to continue or start their higher education at LCC are encouraged to take advantage of this valuable opportunity,” said Admissions/Records Director Diana Rubio. “This fall, LCC is making it easier and more beneficial to ACHIEVE MORE at Laredo’s College.”
LCC’s new OLÉ Web and OLÉ Phone services are valuable options students have to register early for fall classes at LCC. Instead of waiting in a line to sign up for a class, student can conveniently use the World Wide Web or a telephone to enroll for classes via the college’s online enrollment (OLÉ) services.
Additionally, students who register with OLÉ Web have an opportunity to win one of six State Farm OLÉ Web scholarships, each valued at $500. After the early registration period expires, the college will hold a random drawing to select the six lucky students.
The OLÉ services are available to students who early advised for classes and those who are eligible to self advise for classes. To register online, log on to the college website, www.laredo.edu. To register by phone, dial 721-5100 on a touch-tone telephone. Both systems are accessible from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., including weekends, through August 7.
The payment deadline to pay tuition and fees is August 13 by 5 p.m. at the LCC Business (Bursar’s) Office, located in University Hall, room 121.
Fall class schedules are available on the World Wide Web at www.laredo.edu and at the LCC Admissions/Registration Office in University Hall, room 125. The fall semester begins on August 25 and continues through December 5.
