The Laredo Community College Occupational Therapy Assistant program has received a three-year extension to its national re-accreditation status. The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education in Besthesda, Maryland, originally granted a 7-year re-accreditation to LCC. But, after reviewing a new plan submitted by LCC OTA Department Coordinator Terri Gonzalez, the Council chose to extend LCC’s re-accreditation to 10 years.
