LCC lists State Farm OLÉ Web Winners

From a business administration major to two nursing students, six Laredo Community College students are the winners of the first LCC-State Farm OLÉ Web Scholarships.

Each student will receive a $500 scholarship courtesy of State Farm Bank and its family of associated companies.

The scholarship winners were randomly selected from LCC students who registered early for the Fall 2003 semester using LCC’s new OLÉ Web site.

With the technological advancement, LCC students can use the World Wide Web and register for LCC classes, access their school records and much more.

The OLÉ Web service allows all LCC students to access and update their academic history, financial aid and grades through the new web site, http://ole.laredo.edu. Students can also view and print their unofficial transcripts, and update e-mail addresses and provide additional phone numbers.
