to offer ‘What’s for Supper?’ cooking class
This fall, the Laredo Community College Community Education Department is offering a new course for persons seeking to spice up their culinary skills.
The cooking class, entitled “What’s for Supper?,” will show participants how to prepare mouth-watering meals from Mexico and the Mediterranean.
The two-day class will meet on Saturdays, October 25 and November 1, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at LCC’s newest Community Education location in the Laredo Job Corps Center, 1701 Island Street.
Master
chef Roberto Mandujano will lead the class in the Job Corps Center’s
state-of-the-art kitchen facilities. Cooking
supplies, a delicious lunch, and proven new recipes
are included in the course fee of $68.
To register for the course, interested persons should report to the LCC Admissions/Registration Office, located in University Hall, room 125. Office hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
