sales continue for Chia concert fundraiser at LCC
Ticket sales continue at a brisk pace for the Laredo Community College fall gala benefit concert featuring Miami’s Enrique Chia, according to event organizers.
The benefit—set for Thursday, October 16—will be the first major concert to inaugurate the new Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine Arts Center on campus. The gala begins at 7 p.m. with a formal reception and is followed with concert headliner Chia and his Latin Ensemble at 8:15 p.m.
“The Laredo Community College Citizens Advisory Committee appreciates the support that continues to come in for the Enrique Chia concert,” said CAC Chair David Kalisz. “The college hopes to raise over $50,000 to help LCC students realize their career aspirations and goals in the visual and performing arts.”
Ticket sales from the fundraiser will benefit student scholarships at LCC.
To purchase tickets for the LCC fall gala benefit concert, contact the LCC Development Office by calling 721-5812. Office hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The donation for the concert tickets is $100 per person.
