New scholarship named after Cindy Alvarez
The memory of a family’s loved one is opening new opportunities for Laredo Community College students. Mr. and Mrs. Alejandro Alvarez, owners of Cindy’s Catering Services, have established a scholarship in honor of their deceased daughter Cindy Alvarez. From left are donor Alejandro Alvarez and Elizabeth Martinez, the first recipient of the memorial scholarship. Cindy’s Catering also operates the cafeterias for the LCC Main and South campuses.
