MONDAY, MAY 30, 2005

Late registration for Summer Session I at Laredo Community College is from 12-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. in the departments at both LCC Main and South campuses.  Class changes may also be made.  For more information, call 721-5109 or 794-4110.

This summer, kids have fun at Laredo Community College.  Two day camps for youth begin today from 1-4 p.m. (basketball) and 4:15-6:50 p.m. (indoor arena soccer) in the Maravillo Gym.  Space is still available.  Camps continue, Monday-Thursday through June 9.  More summer fun is available.  For more information, call 721-5858.

 

A four-day workweek schedule is in progress at Laredo Community College Main and South campuses.  Summer hours of operation for most campus offices are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.  The campuses are closed Friday through Sunday.  For more information, call 721-5140.

 

Make history in a rewarding allied health career.  Laredo Community College is accepting applications for fall 2005 admission to the programs of Emergency Medical Services, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Office Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Phlebotomy, Physical Therapist Assistant and Radiologic Technology.  Applications are available in the LCC Allied Health Center, room 109.  For more information, call 721-5261.

 

The Camilo Prada Child Development Center of Laredo Community College is open and has extended its enrollment to serve children between 18 months and 4 years of age.  The Prada Center is located at LCC South, 5500 South Zapata Highway.  For tuition and fees information or to enroll your child, call 794-4561.

 

The Little Palomino Head Start, located on the Laredo Community College Main campus and managed by the Webb County Head Start program, is conducting fall enrollment for 3-, 4- and 5-year-old children.  The center is open to the public, but priority is given to LCC students and employees.  For more information, call 722-9858 or 795-1515.
