Young scientists head to summer camp at the Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Science Center at Laredo Community College July 18-22.  Kids ages 6 to 8 will participate in numerous activities related to the Rio Grande ecosystem.  For more information, call 764-5701.

 

Elementary and middle school children are invited to volleyball camp at Laredo Community College.  Parents, sign up your child today; camp is on July 29 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. in the Maravillo Gym.  The fee is $40.  For more information, call 721-5326.

The Camilo Prada Child Development Center of Laredo Community College is open and has extended its enrollment to serve children between 18 months and 4 years of age.  The Prada Center is located at LCC South, 5500 South Zapata Highway.  For tuition and fees information or to enroll your child, call 794-4561.

 

Make history in a rewarding allied health career.  Laredo Community College is accepting applications for fall 2005 admission to the programs of Emergency Medical Services, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Office Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant and Phlebotomy.  Applications are available in the LCC Allied Health Center, room 109.  For more information, call 721-5261.

 

The Little Palomino Head Start, located on the Laredo Community College Main campus and managed by the Webb County Head Start program, is conducting fall enrollment for 3-, 4- and 5-year-old children.  The center is open to the public, but priority is given to LCC students and employees.  For more information, call 722-9858 or 795-1515.

A four-day workweek schedule is in progress at Laredo Community College Main and South campuses.  Summer hours of operation for most campus offices are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.  The campuses are closed Friday through Sunday.  For more information, call 721-5140.
