Special one-on-one faculty assistance was available May 7-8 for Laredo Community College students preparing for final exams on the LCC Main and South campuses.
Final exams week at LCC is May 9-13. While many colleges shut down on the eve of finals week, LCC has offered review weekend for many years as an opportunity for students to prepare for better outcomes on final exams.
“Laredo Community College is recognized in the state as one of the colleges with the best retention rates of first-time college students,” says Dr. Juan L. Maldonado, Vice-President of Instruction and Student Development. “Initiatives such as review weekend encourage our students to succeed and continue their studies.”
Faculty from several areas of instruction will be available to meet with students in selected classrooms. This includes Allied Health, Art, Child Development (South), Computer Technology (Main and South), Foreign Languages, Math, Protective Services (South), Science and Social and Behavioral Sciences.
