
Parents in search of a quality summer
enrichment program for their children are encouraged to sign them up for Kids
and Teens College at Laredo Community College.
The three-week academic and recreational program will be offered on the college’s main campus from July 11 to 28. The summer program, open to ages 5 to 13, will meet on campus Monday through Thursday; the first session is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. while the second session is from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration is from June 27 to 30 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Continuing Education Department in Eloy Garcia Building, room 4, on the Main campus. Late registration is on July 5 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The program is tailored to specific age groups with courses that will benefit the student academically and physically. The classes will be taught by certified instructors and qualified staff. Student enrollment is limited.
Parents have the option of signing up their children for a morning and/or an afternoon session. The cost for each session, which includes three courses and lunch, is $150.
The schedule for both the morning and afternoon sessions is as follows:
