Fine arts education is focus of LCC scholarship award
Luis Palacios, Jr. was the recipient of the James Michael McGraw Memorial Endowed Scholarship, presented during the annual Laredo Community College Student Awards Night in April. The scholarship is intended to assist students, such as Palacios, who are pursuing a fine arts education at LCC. The scholarship was established by the family of James Michael McGraw, who was a theater arts major when he died of leukemia in 1987.
