LCC welcomes new Palominos
Two Alexander High School seniors went from Bulldogs to Palominos after signing letters of intent to play for the Laredo Community College baseball program on Thursday at the Alexander High School Library. Classmates, coaches and teachers were present to witness the signing ceremony for May 2005 graduating seniors Daniel Cantu and Javier Martinez, who were joined by their parents, Roberto and Rosana Cantu (at left), and Javier and Concepcion Martinez (at right). Also present are, from left, standing, LCC Head Coach Chase Tidwell, AHS Coach Tim Bertolf and LCC Athletic Director Troy Van Brunt.
