LCC students bring joy to nursing home residents
A traditional serenata offered by some Laredo Community College students brought joy to about 180 residents at the Regent Care Center on May 10, when Mother’s Day is celebrated in Mexico. The students, enrolled in a sociology class and members of the Nuestras Raices Spanish Club, undertook the project to spread some cheer and compassion to the senior citizens on this special day.
