In or out?
It was a battle of the freshmen versus the sophomores during the first kickball match of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Laredo Community College Wednesday on the main campus grounds. The game was organized by the students to promote physical activity and kick off—literally—the observance of Physical Therapy Month at LCC. Freshman Monica Chavez attempts to catch the ball while Jaime Flores races to home base to score another point for the sophomore team. Cheering Flores on are sophomores, from left, Tanya Garcia, Rigo Delgado, Patricia Garza, Marco A. Lara, Cindy Garcia, Mario Perez, Luis Gallegos and Louie Elizondo. The sophomores won the game 10-5. The PTA students also plan to participate in a National Physical Therapy Month event at Doctors Hospital on Oct. 17 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
