Let's salsa!
Temperatures rose last Tuesday at LCC, but you can't blame Laredo's heat. It was all due to the traveling Salsa Magic Dance Party led by professional Latin dancers Lee and Florcita in the Kazen College Center. Students and staff were treated to an exciting showcase of different styles of Latin dancing courtesy of the dancing duo, both of who are graduates of the George Mason University salsa dancing training program. The highlight of this cultural event was when Lee and Florcita encouraged students and staff to strut their stuff on the hardwood floor. A similar showcase also was offered at LCC South.
