Tennis lovers and Palomino fans have an opportunity to watch intercollegiate tennis action beginning Thursday, April 13 at the Laredo Community College H.E. Butt Tennis Courts.
LCC will host the Region XIV Tournament for the National Junior College Athletic Association Thursday and Friday featuring LCC, Lee College of Baytown and Tyler Junior College of Tyler.
The action starts with the women Thursday when LCC confronts Lee at 6:30 p.m.
Friday’s matches on the women’s side include Lee vs. Tyler at 9:30 a.m. and LCC vs. Tyler at 2:30 p.m.
The No. 1 nationally ranked LCC men’s team faces archrival Tyler at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
The LCC tennis courts are located on the north side of the main campus at the Fort McIntosh Sports and Recreation Center.
Admission to the two-day tournament is free and open to the public.
