Issues on the border
Issues of importance to citizens living on the
United States-Mexico border were foremost on the minds of mayors, city managers
and economic development council leaders from Laredo, El Paso, Eagle Pass and
the Rio Grande Valley during a meeting of the Texas Border Infrastructure
Coalition Tuesday at Laredo Community
College. Among those attending

Rio mayor Dora G. Alcala, LCC president Dr. Ramon H. Dovalina, McAllen EDC
president and CEO Mike Allen and LCC Chief Development Officer Blas Castaņeda.
The meeting was an opportunity to gather essential information for developing
sound and critical legislative reports for the border region.
