The observance of Math/Internet Security Month is celebrated at Laredo Community College. Participating high school students test their math skills in a special competition from 10:15 to 11 a.m. in various campus facilities. Break-out sessions on Texas Instruments, health sciences, robotics, computer science and environmental science are held from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. A presentation on Internet security and a ceremony to recognize the winners of the math competition is held from 1-2 p.m. in the Martinez Fine Arts Center theater.
