Footsteps turn into scholarships as Justice of the Peace Hector Liendo and friends put on their walking shoes for the first College Walk scholarship fundraiser for the benefit of Laredo Community College students. The walk starts at the Northside Boys and Girls Club at 10 a.m. and it ends at the LCC main campus at approximately 11:30 a.m. It’s 5,280 steps to raise $5,280 for student scholarships.
