LCC nursing students receive valuable support
Nursing students at Laredo Community College with aspirations of becoming talented healthcare providers have a received a boost from the Auxiliary to Laredo Medical Center. LCC Community Relations Director Millie Slaughter (left) accepts a check for $15,000 from Marjorie C. Richter, director of the gift shop at the hospital, to benefit an endowed scholarship program for nursing students at LCC. Looking on is Frances Quesada. Through a donor matching program, a total of $25,000 has been generated to support the endowed scholarship program for LCC nursing students.
