Laredo Community College main and south campuses are closed so that faculty and staff can kick up their heels and explore “New Frontiers” during the Fall 2006 Convocation. Full- and part-time LCC employees are treated to a chuck wagon breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in the Kazen College Center, followed by a general session from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine Arts Center theater; a dance performance featuring LCC students and a special message from motivational speaker Efrain “Happy” Guerrero are some of the highlights of the general session.
