Be a
winner this fall at the ‘College of Champions’
There’s more than 120 ways to be a winner this fall at the “College of Champions.”
That’s because Laredo Community College offers more than 120 associate’s degrees and certificate programs to become a champion in a career.
Students in a quest for a brighter future should take advantage of the registration activities for the fall 2006 semester at LCC main and south campuses.
Students who can self advise for classes and those who already have taken advantage of faculty advising can register online now through Monday, Aug. 21 via the On Line Enrollment (OLÉ) system at http://ole.laredo.edu.
On-campus registration and online registration will be conducted Tuesday, Aug. 22.
Advising and registration in person will be available from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. in the instructional department corresponding to the students’ major.
Advising for most programs of study is available at both campuses. However, students should note that advising activities for certain instructional programs will be conducted at specific campuses:
* At LCC main campus only- allied health and nursing, performing arts (formerly music/dance), electrical technology, heating/air conditioning, refrigeration technologies, major appliance installer/repairer, military science and welding;
* At LCC South only- automotive-collision repair technology, automotive technology/technician, computer electronics, diesel engine mechanics, protective services and child development.
Students who are undecided about their major should report to the counseling center at either campus.`
On line registration via the OLÉ system will be available from 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
Students who register between Aug. 18 and 22 must pay their tuition and fees by Aug. 22 by 7 p.m. at the Bursar’s Office or by 11 p.m. with a credit card via the OLÉ system.
Hundreds of day, evening and distance learning classes are scheduled to be offered at both college campuses.
Students may view the fall 2006 class schedule at www.laredo.edu or by logging on to the college's OLÉ system. Late registration is Thursday, Aug. 24. Classes start Monday, Aug. 28.
