Santa ushers in Christmas season with serenade at LCC
Santa Claus and his helpers officially ushered the Yuletide season at Laredo Community College during the Christmas Serenade and Holiday Jazz Concert on Wednesday, Dec. 6 in the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine Arts Center theater. Throngs of families packed the auditorium to attend the music concert, which featured the LCC Show Band under the direction of music instructor Jose D. Compean. The concert also featured special appearances by Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman, as well as a holiday sing-a-long led by Laredo native A.B. Barrera.
