Christmas is arriving early for several lucky Laredo Community College students who register for the Spring 2007 semester by Thursday, Dec. 14.
That’s because students who register for the new term at LCC by Dec. 14 can participate in a drawing for an array of prizes, including iPods, tickets for Laredo Bucks hockey games and even a reserved parking space at both main and south campuses.
“Among the exciting prizes that will be given away are five iPods, five packages with 5 Bucks tickets each and a reserved campus parking space to be selected by the student. This parking space can be at the main campus, at the south campus or at both campuses for the entire Spring 2007 semester,” Rick Moreno, dean of enrollment management, explained.
“With the holidays around the corner, LCC students have an opportunity to win a special gift for having registered for the spring term by Dec. 14,” Moreno said.
Any student who registered for the spring term between Oct. 30 and Dec. 14 can sign up for the drawing at the LCC Student Activities Office. Students have until Tuesday, Jan. 9 to pay their tuition and fees for the spring term.
Winners of the drawing will be announced on Friday, Dec. 15 in the Kazen College Center.
Spring registration is ongoing via the college’s On Line Enrollment (OLÉ) system at http://ole.laredo.edu.
