Spreading Mardi Gras-style fun at LCC
Priscilla Martinez was
among a group of Laredo Community College students spreading some Mardi Gras
revelry at LCC South Tuesday. The celebration served as a kickoff to inform the
student body about Saturday’s third annual LCC Family Fun Fest and Musicale at
the main campus from 12 to 5 p.m. Kickoff activities included a challenging
trivia
contest
and an exciting reggaeton dance-off with prizes awarded to students. The
Fun Fest and Musicale is a popular Washington’s Birthday tradition. Admission
to the WBCA-affiliate event is free and open to the community.
