LCC staffers squeeze time for citrus fest
Ernestina Vela, chair of the Business/Management Department at Laredo Community College, was among the faculty and staff who squeezed some time into their schedules to attend the second annual Citrus Fest Dec. 12. The event was an opportunity for college employees to pick all the grapefruit, oranges, lemons and limes they wanted from a citrus grove located near the main entrance to the downtown campus.
