Exploring future careers
Graduates of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Laredo Community College are highly sought after by employers seeking to hire qualified and caring healthcare professionals to their organizations. Amy McKaygehan (far right), a career recruiter for Legacy Healthcare Services Inc., was at LCC this month to offer a presentation to future graduates of the college's OTA program. The Legacy Healthcare representative spoke to the students on the opportunities and benefits the national therapist-owned and -operated corporation offers to its employees. The company currently has available positions in 13 states, including Texas. The LCC students were treated to lunch during the presentation, courtesy of Legacy Healthcare.
