
A new year is a time to embark on new journeys and discover new opportunities for a brighter future in life.
Start the new year right at Laredo Community College. Registration for the Spring 2006 Semester is on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 10-11, at both main and south campuses.
Registration for the new term will be conducted via the college’s On Line Enrollment (OLÉ) system Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Students may register from any computer with Internet access from home or on campus at http://ole.laredo.edu.
Advising will be available in the instructional departments and the counseling centers at both campuses from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days.
Payment of tuition and fees is due by 7 p.m. in person at the Bursar’s Office or by 11 p.m. with a credit card on the OLÉ web system.
An array of day, evening and distance learning classes is slated to be offered this spring at LCC, including courses in accounting, allied health, applied business, art, biology, chemistry, computer technology, dance, drafting, drama, economics, electrical technology, English, foreign languages, geography, geology, government, heating and air conditioning, history, import/export, kinesiology, bank finance, business, marketing, real estate, management, human resources, mathematics, military science, music, nursing, philosophy, physics, psychology, reading, sociology, speech and welding.
Traditional classes held on campus begin on Monday, Jan. 16, while distance learning classes begin on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
