Supporting the performing arts
Laredo Community College student Ani Celisa Vera, right, received a major boost to fulfill her career ambitions in the performing arts after being named the recipient of the Blanche Flores Leyendecker Memorial Scholarship. The announcement was made during the annual LCC Scholarship and Awards Night in April at the Kazen College Center. LCC dance instructor Danuta Gazdyszyn was the presenter.
