Imagine the opportunity to live at a prestigious address where history meets innovation.
You can if you’re a student residing at the Laredo Community College main campus at West End Washington Street.
Space is still available for students to live on campus this fall at the Sue Killam Dormitories.
The LCC Dormitory consists of a complex of six buildings, which offers 60 double occupancy units (suites). A common area separates each unit—or dorm room—and provides individual residents with privacy and security.
Each unit is fully furnished, is equipped with air conditioning/heating, and is cable and telephone ready. LCC dorm residents also have access to many other amenities.
“Living on the Laredo Community College campus has its advantages because residents live in a safe environment within a stone’s throw of their classroom, tennis courts, swimming pool, library, the internet Corral, cafeteria, the learning center, a baseball park and much more,” Campus Housing manager Suzanne Ramirez said.
“The tree-lined streets and the historic Fort McIntosh setting make LCC dorm life a unique opportunity for students who desire to, or who need to live away from home while pursuing a college education,” Ramirez added. “Living on campus is very conducive to a student’s learning experience at LCC.”
Additionally, campus living is convenient and affordable, noted Ramirez.
For more information, visit the Campus Housing Office, located at P-41, on the north side of the LCC campus, call 721-5454 or email Ramirez at housing@laredo.edu.
