Sam Haber scholarship to benefit LCC students
Business and management students at Laredo Community College have received a boost to fulfill their educational goals with the establishment of the Sam Haber Memorial Scholarship. Anita and Elizabeth Haber, wife and daughter of the late businessman, hosted a luncheon recently at a local restaurant, attended by college administration and faculty from the Business-Management Department. Among those present were, from left, instructor Dr. Jacinto Juarez, Elizabeth Haber and business-management department chair Ernestina Vela. The Haber scholarship will benefit several students each year.
