LCC graduates first female truck driver
Laredoan Bella Garcia is the first female to graduate from the professional truck driver training program at Laredo Community College. The new four-week training program was launched in October 2005 by the LCC Continuing Education Department. Motivation, Education and Training (MET) Inc. sponsored the students’ training, which is offered at LCC South under contract with Star Career Training Inc.
