LCC, MET provide valuable truck driver training
Training for the third graduating class of the professional truck driver training program at Laredo Community College South was fulfilled with the support of Motivation, Education and Training (MET) Inc. On hand at a ceremony to recognize the graduates were, from left, instructor Danny Salinas, Sandra Patiņo from MET Inc., Felix Puente Jr., Isaias Martinez, program recruiter Felix Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez from Star Career Training Inc. MET is a nonprofit organization created to provide academic and vocational training to migrant and seasonal farm workers to help them become more economically self-sufficient.
