Jake Wilson, a right-handed pitcher with the Laredo Community College baseball program, has signed a national letter of intent to play for New Mexico State University, starting in the fall of 2007.
Wilson, a sophomore with the LCC Palominos who hails from Corpus Christi’s King High School, will be joining other former LCC baseball standouts at the Division I school, including Cameron McLachlan and Joe Leghorn.
LCC head baseball coach Chase Tidwell said that Wilson is excited about the opportunity to continue his baseball career at NMSU, but that he looks forward to completing his tenure with the Palominos this spring.
