
Want to add some romance to your life?
Make a date with the Laredo Community College Traditional Group by attending the group’s fall music concert, Noche Romantica, on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Sponsored by the LCC Performing Arts Department, the concert will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine Arts Center theater.
Admission is free to the public.
LCC Traditional Group director J. Alfredo Iñiguez-Jimenez said that the concert will offer an opportunity to enjoy listening to an array of popular Latino love songs.
“The Noche Romantica concert will be a special evening featuring many cherished love songs that are popular in this region,” Iñiguez said.
Among the selections to be performed by the LCC student performance ensemble are Si te doy mi corazón, Creo estar soñando, Vida, A puro dolor, Mi forma de sentir, Perdón, Piel canela and El sinaloense, among others.
Members of the LCC Traditional Group include Rick Flores, Ricardo G. Iñiguez, Apolunio Parra, Josué Perez, Angel G. Ramos, Melinda Nicole Rocha, Jose Angel Santana, Jerry Sifuentes, Felip Suarez and AmandoVaquera.
The musical group features guitars, singers and percussion.
