Jeff Mandel, one of the country’s premier sketch artists, draws caricatures of Laredo Community College South students from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Billy Hall Student Center. The stage curtain opens for the classic Gilbert and Sullivan comedy opera “The Gondoliers” at Laredo Community College. Students from the Laredo and United independent school districts are treated to a morning performance of the LCC Opera Workshop production at 9 a.m. in the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine Arts Center theater.
