Seven collegians receive O’Keefe scholarship at LCC
Seven Laredo Community College students were the recipients of the Herman B. and Lilia May O’Keefe Endowed Scholarship. The announcement was made during the annual LCC Student Awards Night ceremony held in the Kazen College Center. The scholars (not pictured in order) San Juanita Abrego, Leticia Joy Alva, Jesus Cardenas, Maria Consuelo Gracia, Eliud Chapa, Jessica Rojas and Jose David Rubio are congratulated by scholarship presenter Jackie Weimer. The scholarship was created to benefit students residing in South Laredo, as well as the southern part of Webb County and Zapata County.
