MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2004

Tickets for a Laredo Community College concert fundraiser featuring Grammy nominated Mariachi Sol De Mexico de Jose Hernandez are available at the LCC Bursar’s Office and Guadalupe Music Shop.  The concert, part of LCC’s first-ever Viva el Mariachi! Festival and Competition, will be on October 30 at 7 p.m. at the LCC Martinez Fine Arts Center.  The opening act will be Los Arrieros de Laredo.  For more information, call 721-5140.

 

The Program/Policy Committee of the Laredo Community College Board of Trustees will hold a meeting at 12 noon in Laird Hall, room 124.  The meeting is open to the campus body and public.  For more information, call 721-5101.

 

Laredo Community College will hold a practice session from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Maravillo Gymnasium for LCC students interested in participating in Cheerleader Tryouts.  For more information, call 721-5899.

Laredo Community College is conducting enrollment for children—ages 2, 3 and 4—to the new Camilo Prada Child Development Center this fall.  The Prada Center is located at LCC South, 5500 South Zapata Highway.  For tuition and fees information or to enroll your child, call 794-4561.
