Preserving traditions at LCC

A record number of students, faculty, staff and community attended Laredo Community College’s third annual Christmas Celebration and Posada on December 7. More than 100 individuals joined in the procession reenacting Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem. La Posada is a special Christmas custom celebrated in Mexico. Member of the Nuestras Raices Spanish Club, formerly known as La Pequeña Barraca, host the event to preserve this holiday tradition on campus.
