This spring, Laredo Community College students have more ways to “Make History” at two campus locations—LCC Main and LCC South—and more choices to fulfill their quest for a college education. The opportunity for students to ‘Make History’ and enroll at LCC this spring begins on Tuesday, January 11.
“Laredo Community College offers a larger and more dynamic schedule of courses at two campuses, giving students greater access to higher education,” says LCC President Dr. Ramon H. Dovalina.
LCC South is located at 5500 South Zapata Highway. LCC downtown is located at the west end of Washington Street.
Regular (arena) registration for LCC Main and South courses will be conducted only in the Maravillo Gymnasium at the downtown campus. Registration will be by alphabetical sequence according to the student’s last name:
- January 11- for letters R-S from 8:30 to 10 a.m.; letters T-U from 10 to 11 a.m.; letters V-Z from 11 to 12:30 p.m.; and in the afternoon/evening for letters A-B from 4 to 5 p.m.; and letters C-D from 5 to 7 p.m.; and
- January 12- for letters E-F from 8:30 to 9 a.m.; letters G-H from 9 to 11 a.m.; letters I-L from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and in the afternoon/evening for letters M-O from 4 to 6 p.m. and letters P-Q from 6 to 7 p.m.
To provide students with an efficient registration process, LCC will follow the alphabetical registration schedule. Students may register on or after the hour of their letter.
Regular registration will be open to all students on January 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Maravillo Gym.
Late registration will be January 17 and 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Maravillo Gym (LCC downtown) and at the LCC South instructional departments.
The Spring 2005 semester begins on January 17, and continues through May 6.
