School spirit will engulf the Laredo Community College campus next month when hundreds of area school cheerleaders attend the NCA summer cheer camp at the West End Washington Street campus near downtown.
The four-day camp, which will be held at the Maravillo Gymnasium, will begin on July 12 and conclude on July 15. Registration will be the first day of camp from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the LCC gym. The approximate camp schedule is: first day, 1 to 8:30 p.m.; second and third days, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and the fourth (final) day, 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
College officials say the summer camp is a popular tradition. Young cheerleaders attending the NCA summer cheer camp enjoy a fun-filled learning experience that improves skills and offers new techniques.
