LCC Calendar for February 16-22, 2004

 

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2004

Candidates can file now for a place on the Laredo Community College Board Election ballot. The application is available online at www.laredo.edu/elections or from the college’s presiding elections officer, located in the LCC Administrative Annex Building, room 101.  Office hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  The deadline to file an application is March 15 before 5 p.m.  For more information, call 721-5825.

 

The Laredo Community College Athletics Department will host the second annual LCC Palomino Golf Tournament Benefit at the Laredo Country Club.  Tee-off is at 12:45 p.m.  For more information, call 721-5326.

The Phi Theta Kappa Chapter of Laredo Community College will hold a meeting and orientation for spring 2004 candidates seeking induction to the international honor society.  The session begins at 1 p.m. in the Kazen College Center, room 121.  For more information, call 721-5304.

Laredo Community College features Wacky 3-D photo cards, a traveling interactive novelty which allows students to walk away with a 3-D photo ID of themselves.  The attraction will be at the LCC Kazen Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Participation is free of charge with a valid LCC student ID card.  For more information, call 721-5179.
