Laredo Community College and KJBZ-93 FM radio are sending some talented young artists to experience the magic and beauty of “Sesame Street Live!” during a coloring contest on Saturday, October 16.
Z 93 and LCC invite children to the coloring art contest on Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the new Camilo Prada Child Development Center, located on the college’s South campus, 5500 South Zapata Highway.
Z 93 will host a live remote from the Prada Center facilities. Winners of the contest will receive tickets to watch “Sesame Street Live!” which will be presented at the Laredo Entertainment Center on November 30 and December 1.
Parents and children will also have an opportunity to preview the Prada Child Development Center, which is now open and enrolling children, ages 2 to 4 years old.
The Prada Child Development Center is operated by qualified and certified teachers, teacher assistants, a registered nurse and a permanent cook. It was created to provide quality care for children from Laredo and surrounding communities and to serve as a model for the area’s child care facilities.
Parents who receive assistance from Child Care Management Services may request that their child be transferred to the Prada Child Development Center.
